The fact that over 50 per cent of the residents of Toronto are not from Canada, that is always a good thing, creatively, and for food especially. That is easily a city’s biggest strength, and it is Toronto’s unique strength.

Toronto, Canada.
Well, it has been given many nicknames – The 6ix. T.O./T-Dot. The Big Smoke. 416. Hogtown. Those are but a few of the many nicknames that have been bestowed on this city.
Known to be the powerhouse city of Canada. It is a melting pot city of diverse origins which makes it a great escape for anyone who is looking for variety of experiences to fill your time in. From the classic structure of Union Station to the magnificent CN Tower to Ripley’s Aquarium – you name it.

The Union Station and the CN Tower at night
The iconic CN Tower, I can see it from my home and it always makes in awe whenever I woke up and before going to sleep peeking through the window.

Through a go-train from Port Credit, I spent a quarter of day to the city and I can confirm that with such a bare minimum time, it is not enough to complete the good feel for what Toronto has to offer. Still, I travelled and met “something” I’ve never met before.

Reminiscing in front of Rogers Centre
Whether you’re a die-hard baseball fan or just looking for a fun day out, catching a Toronto Blue Jays game at the iconic Rogers Centre is an experience you won’t want to miss. Nestled in the bustling heart of downtown Toronto, this legendary stadium offers not only thrilling baseball action but also stunning views of Toronto’s skyline.

Night chillin’ at Nathan Philips Square
Nathan Phillips Square, the urban plaza that houses Toronto’s City Hall, is one of the most popular attractions for visitors to our downtown. And why not? There’s the Instagram-famous Toronto sign, the unique architectural towers, and a reflecting pool—which combined make a perfect background for your “I was here” photo.

Photo-op at the square
But if you have time for more than a photo op, there’s plenty to see and do here. From farmers’ markets and food festivals on summer weekends, ice skating and celebrations of light in winter, and public art year-round, Nathan Phillips Square is a great place to connect with the heart of this diverse city.

Under the “must -sea” at Ripley’s Aquarium
Located in downtown Toronto adjacent to the CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is one of three public aquariums owned by Ripley Entertainment. The aquarium was originally intended for Niagara Falls, where it would undoubtedly fit in on the kitschy Clifton Hill, but plans fell through and it opened in Toronto in 2013.

Fun time, Night time.
The CN Tower dominates the Toronto skyline. It was the world’s tallest tower for over 30 years, and although it’s been overtaken since, you can see right across the city from the top – and as far as the US on a clear day. Its main observation deck is at 346 metres high, and there’s a glass-floored section just below and the Sky Pod up at 447 metres.

Aerial view of the metropolis
Definitely, these are some of the best things you can do at Toronto. Experience the ever-changing landscape of the city as it goes through four seasons the entire year!!
