It is almost the end of the year. And 2022 is just around the corner. Still, there is a life full of possibility, hope and promise. As for me, this writing journey has been one of the many beginnings of my life. Of rethinking, of re-starting and of continuing.
à l’heure actuelle, I am staring at this striking wall of enormous writers, cemented with overflowing courage. Eager to flourish into something better and of great maturity. Writing is a work of art, and the more you expose yourself to it, the better you master it. Being a writer is an an amazing adventure. It begins by writing for ourselves. By recording our memories and our stories, items we have heard and loved, we reminisce them all and we happily come up with lovely poems, tell eloquent short stories, both fiction, and nonfiction. We find our voice. We differentiate it from the rest, and until we finally come up with our own writing identity. Little by little we make our own path. We strive to go to the path less chosen. Even though there are hundreds and thousands of writers, we strive to be creative and different. We strive to take accountability of our own journey into writing, instill it within ourselves, and write with a unique voice that belongs only to us, with high hopes that someday someone will want to show the world our work.
Many of you may feel like your life journey is a constant state of “just” beginnings that never pays off or bear sweet fruits. But we must always remember that for every new beginning is a new step away from the ever-hurtful winding road, and a leap away from the exciting ever-changing path. Look and move forward. – you never know who or what you’ll encounter along the way.
